Bringing Neighbors Together
​Golden United brings together members of the community from all walks of life through a wide range of events and activities.

Community Discussion Forums: Convening discussion forums to improve understanding of and identify actions to address issues including managing growth, civility, rule of law and gun violence, affordable housing, campaign finance reform, and more.

Celebration of Golden: Every year, Golden United brings together people of varying backgrounds for a shared meal to celebrate our shared commitment to the community and the contributions of organizations and individuals.

Unity Events: Golden United convenes vigils, rallies, and marches to bring the community together to speak out against intolerance and injustice. This has included a Vigil and March for Black Lives in 2020 and a Unity Rally in 2017 after the Charlottesville event.

Candidate Forums: Golden United has teamed with Leadership Golden and others on non-partisan forums for city council and mayoral candidates.
DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS
In times of increasing political polarization and tribalism, it can be hard to have meaningful conversations with those whose views and opinions differ from your own. Golden United believes that stronger communities are built when relationships between neighbors overcome political and ideological differences.
